Real Wildlife Removal Stories…

Texas has a big problem with the growing population of wild hogs. You would think this is a rural problem, but it is starting to be a urban problem. We have had two local municipalities call and request our services for Texas wildlife removals. Residences are experiencing hogs coming up from local creeks and rutting up their yards. The problem is it is never just one hog, its 5-20 hogs. They can completely ruin a yard in one night. You can’t shot them because its in the city limits. So one municipality hired us to build large hog traps in which we baited with a local restaurant scrap left overs. Threw a bag of deer corn around the scraps and the next day we had 8 hogs.

Fort Worth is an original Texas city with an abundant amount of tall mature trees in the city limits. Texas has no shortage of squirrels living and running around in those trees. In 2007 a customer called and said she kept hearing noises in her attic. One evening the power went out in her bathroom. She went to look at the breaker and it was not tripped. As a smart precaution she turned that breaker off and called an electrician. When he showed up he went into the attic and found a chewed electrical line to her bathroom. He then noticed over half of her wires had been chewed upon and were creating a major fire hazard. She called our wildlife removal Forth Worth service and we found she had 4 squirrels living in the attic. We trapped and removed all 4 squirrels and repaired the entry points.  Unfortunately she did have to have her entire house electrically rewired. Moral of this story is don’t wait if you hear something in your attic, call a wildlife removal service asap!
